Day 1 part 1

The morning of day one in Israel we hit the ground running. First up - the wedding church of Cana. Where Jesus attended the wedding and turned the water into wine. Matt and I, and all the other couples renewed our vows- we have the certificate to prove it. :).

From there we went to the church of the annunciation. Jesus grew up in Nazareth and this church was built over the area believed to have been his childhood home. It was beautiful. In the main part of the church there were people of all nationalities lifting their hands, speaking in languages I could not understand, and worshipping our Lord.

This was just the first morning. Of the best trip of my life.
