Today

Today we spent most of the day in Rutherfordton at Kid Senses for Owen's 3rd birthday. We had a lot of fun! Pictures are below.

The love triangle

Noah and Emma have been "boyfriend and girlfriend" for over 2 years now. Just this year Atley has come into the picture and stirred things up a bit. Weekly, we hear from Noah about which one has broken up with him, etc. He's so cute!

4 Generations

A whole lot of awkward, Scoggins-style

6 weeks to go...

The nursery

Here you go mom, you wanted a picture of the nursery after we set stuff up post-shower. And yes, I did iron the crib dust ruffle :)

Love

Noah and mom have always had such a special bond. Dad says it's because they spent so much time together when he first came into the world. This is a picture of them saying goodbye right before mom and dad left. I think it's such a sweet picture.

A baby shower...

We're heading this weekend to Charlotte for Rachel's baby shower. I will post pictures soon!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Yesterday Tabitha and Chevas + us went to Asheville. We dropped off some things at a consignment store and headed to the park. It was such a beautiful day!

Sunshine!!!

It is such a glorious day outside! God is giving us a taste of spring this weekend and we are making the most of it. We went to the park this morning with some of our friends for a picnic, playground, and to walk around the track. We all had so much fun! Matt stayed home to work on a new project. I had told him last fall that I didn't want to hear the sound of a drill or saw until at least March. This week, he informed me since it is March, it is time to start back at it!

News Flash!

Ella peed on the potty tonight for the first time! While it was unprompted, we aren't diving into potty training quiet yet. She wears panties sometimes just for fun, and almost always has accidents in them. Tonight proved we are moving closer to the starting point!

I am so blessed to have these women in my life! Today we took a well planned trip to Gaffney to the outlets. We all had sold our childrens old things in a consignment sale in Asheville and saved some of the money we got to go and look for fall clearance stuff for next year. It was so great to have "Sarah time" with them! I love them dearly, not just for the fun stuff, but because I know I can count on them constantly and that they love me for who I am.

Fun Depot with cousins

Tuesday of this week we got out of the house and headed to the Fun Depot with LJ, Gabe, Jack, and Nick. It was a lot of fun! Matt had taken the kids with LJ about a month ago and the whole way there Noah talked about how we had to go on the race cars. I thought, if Gabe would watch Ella, I would love to take him on the cars. He was so excited! However, I learned a few things. NEVER eat, and then go on the race cars. #2, Matt will be taking him on the race cars for every ride in the future. I never would have thought that they would go so fast, and I didn't take into consideration the many tight turns you do while trying to "keep up with Nick" in the car ahead of us! It was priceless even with the nausea because half way through the race, Noah looked at me and told me it was the "best day ever." I really love that little man! Oh, and I had to mention, Ella was an animal in the toddler play area! She went all the way up to the top to go down the tallest slide! Over and over! Noah was 4 years old before he would risk going that high! She thinks she's just one of the guys when she's with the cousins. And Jack was so sweet to her. He stuck with her everytime to make sure she found the way.
