The misunderstood dragon

Rebekah took this video while waiting in the car in between errands last weekend. You can always get a story out of Noah. In the middle of the story he is concerned about Ella and HB who are in another car waiting while Rachel and I were inside. Enjoy!

Chevas the Redneck with a Mullet

We always have so much to laugh about when we get together as siblings. Last weekend Rebekah tried to give JohnMark a haircut and it didn't turn out very well. He ended up with a mullet. This video was taken while waiting for the professional hairdresser to come over.

The Siak 5

It's official. Our 3rd child is on the way! This afternoon I went to have another ultrasound done to make sure our little one's heartbeat was still strong and that he (wishful thinking) is growing well... And all is absolutely perfect!

We have been on a long journey the past year and a half trying to get pregnant and waiting on God's timing, and we are so thankful that we have been blessed with this child who is wanted so much!

You can help by praying for this pregnancy, for good health, rest, and for the preecclampsia to stay away as long as possible. I am sure I will keep you updated!

What a Game!

After the game, watching Sportscenter set up.

Auburn Wins!

We counted it up this weekend, and it had been 9 years since I had been to an Auburn game. How did that much time fly by!? This game was amazing. GameDay from Sportcenter was there all day, during , and after the game. We got great seats and got to sit with Daniel and Lindsey, and Bekah and Will. We got to walk through the college life of tailgaiting before the game started, and we sat on the edge of our seats after the second half. We were so blessed to have this experience!!

Dinner @ Mama G's

We all met up at a local Auburn hot spot, Mama G's for dinner before we all went our seperate ways. Most of us were going to the game, and we are so thankful to Mom, Dad, and Ray who watched our kids and got them to bed at a decent hour! It was great to all be together!

Alabama

We are having so much fun in Alabama! Will & Bekah made a Cornhole set (this is the first time I had ever played). We've played Cornhole, shopped a little, ate better than we

should, and enjoyed being with each other! And we have even more fun planned for the rest of the weekend....

Family from Marion is rescued!

This story is humbling and amazing, and the family gives the credit and glory to God for their rescue. What a wonderful testimony!

For the Love of the Game

Matt got to play in his last regular season game on Sunday afternoon (they still have the playoffs). While playing 3rd base he had a "one hopper" for those of you like me who don't know what that is, it's when someone hits the ball and it bounces one time. It bounced right into his thigh. Last night when he came home he had me worried because it wasn't swelling outward, but today it seems to be swelling just fine... Ouch!

I'm On A Boat

Monday morning silliness is in full swing. I thought I might start packing for our trip to Alabama this weekend, but the girls had other plans. They are currently sailing the ocean seas...

Benjamin Luke Siak

We were blessed this week to get to meet Benjamin Luke, Joey and Rebecca's son. He came into the world on September 8th and weighed in at 7lb 13oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Last night Matt and I went to Mission to meet him. We so enjoyed getting to hold him, feel his soft skin, watch his cute little movements, and witness his first bought of hiccups out of the womb. While we waited in the hallway we reminisced about our own time on the mother baby floor and how we look forward to being there again one day with the birth of our 3rd child. On the way home we talked about how this was one of the best date nights we have had.
Joey and Rebecca are going to be incredible parents. Their love for each other and for their Savior is the foundation that will build an amazing family. Ben is so loved already! We are privileged to be able to walk beside them in this journey!

Ella's first day of preschool. Ever.

Today was Ella's first day of preschool. She is a part of the McSmiles program which meets on a "Mobile Bus" that has been converted into a preschool classroom (yes it has heat and air that works great, and they park outside of a church to take the kids to the bathroom if needed).

All week she has been talking about if I would stay with her. Today, on the way there she asked me if I would stay with her again. I told her that I couldn't but that I would be right back to get her. She said ok. Matt and i dropped her off at the door, and she didn't even look back for us! I asked the teacher if she cried when we left, and she said she didn't and was fine!

When I picked her up I asked her how it was, and she said "it was totally fun." Which cracked me up. I can't believe how grown up she is. I love that girl to pieces.

Hanging Out with Papa Siak

Last weekend we got the treat of having Papa Siak come stay with us. We spent the day in Black Mountain at the pool, walked the trail at Lake Tomahawk, and finished it off with my favorite mexican restaurant for dinner. That night Jesse and Mark came and spent the night and the boys got to play golf on Sunday. It was great getting to hang out with family and to relax during the long weekend!

The family keeps growing...

Sometime between now and Tuesday night we will get to meet our new nephew! Be praying for Rebecca and Joey as they welcome their sweet little man, Benjamin Luke Siak into the world. We already love him and can't wait to meet him!
