Jack and Ella have always had a special relationship. Just like how Noah and Nick are two peas in a pod. They enjoyed playing on the back porch together after we were finished with our pumpkins.
The boys, especially Jack, had a great time carving our pumpkins today. After church we ate a huge breakfast, and the boys could hardly wait until we had gotten ready to start carving. Jack and I did the dirty work, and cleaned out the inside of the pumpin. Noah, Jack, and Ella loved the carving part, Nick wasn't too interested.
Today we carved the pumpkin after church with LJ and the boys. These pictures are of Ella having a conversation with her new friend. Smiling the whole time! She's so precious! And I love how she loves this pumpkin!
Today we got to hang out with Nana and Papa Siak, and some of the Siak Uncles. We had fun at Noah's soccer game and then came back to our house for some lunch. We had a great time enjoying everyones company!
It was a huge day for Noah! Not only did he have Nana Scoggins, Papa and Nana Siak, Uncle LJ and Mark, Ann, Jack, and Nick, plus our little family to cheer him on, but HE SCORED HIS FIRST GOAL!!!!!! Unfortunately I missed it as I had to run home quickly, but he did a great job the rest of the game. I'm so proud of my little man!
Last week we got to go to two birthday parties for some of our close friends kids. Ella's best buddy Sylvie and her brother Eli had a joint party on Wednesday night, and Ella's other buddy Carter had a party on Thursday. Their mommies are some of my dearest buddies. We are blessed to have them all in our life! Kim sent me these pictures and I thought I'd share them.
I went to Charlotte this weekend to be a part of Hannah Beth's dedication to the Lord in a sweet ceremony on Saturday morning. It was great to see my sisters, parents, and crazy brother in laws too!
I've determined there is absolutely no way to get 3 children to smile at the same time!!! These were on the porch this morning before Rachel and HannahBeth went back to Charlotte.
Rachel and Hannah Beth came up for the day to help us create our Christmas card/present for mom. We're having our pictures done by a local photographer this afternoon. I'll have my Christmas card picture finished early this year, and I'm so happy about it! It'll be here before you know it!
Yesterday Ella got to have her friend Sylvie over for awhile. They had so much fun and are such good buddies. Noah got to spend some time with Meredith after school. He loves looking after her and is such a good helper!
Noah and I got to spend an awesome day at the Corn Maze for his first field trip. First we got to go through the corn maze. About half way through, Noah asked if we'd been walking for 3 hours (ha, ha). It was a long maze! Next they got to go to the Charlie Brown pumpkin patch and pick out their very own pumpkin. They got to decorate it and take it home. He put it on his dresser so he could look at it every day. He then got to go pumpkin bowling (crazy!) and on a hay ride. He wasn't feeling 100% - his first cold of the fall, but overall he had a blast. And I'm so glad I got to be there to share it with him!
