Mamas boys.

I was taking a few pictures for a friend this week at the greenway and captured a few of my boys.

I got a little teary when I was playing with these pictures at just how big they both are. Especially my Noah. 9 1/2 years old.

I am so very proud of both of them.

The inside

I love this house.  And I hate that we've grown out of it.  We moved here when Noah was 8 months old and we have officially grown out of it.  I have brought home 2 more babies from the hospital here.  So many Christmas', my boy got saved sitting on the bed in our room, so much laughter, and an occasional fight between the kids to break up, I love this house.  But I know God has something bigger in store for us.  And the next family to move in will love it just as much as we have.    My friend Katy(katycookphotography.com)  took these pictures in preparation for our house to be listed on the MLS hopefully after next week.  I can't believe it's time.

The outside

The outside of our house is one of my favorite places.  We are situated across from 15 acres.  A family of deer have lived in the woods across the street for as long as I remember.  And that swing - I have rocked all 3 of my babies on this porch.  It is the picture of peace and serenity.

If you build it they will come.  I can remember Matt referencing Field of Dreams when we bought our house.  We own 1.4 acres.  Most of that is the huge field behind our house.  Our kids learned how to play soccer, and enjoyed the quietness of this field every day during the summers.  The rare thing is, we live in the city limits, to have this much quiet in the city is a blessing.

Crazy April

My poor blog has become neglected again. Why you ask? We -Are-Busy!!!

For the past few months we have been working steadily (crazy, never ending, I always have paint on me somewhere) on our house. But for good reason. Hopefully by the end of this month it will be officially on the market! Here are a few things we have been up to!

-we were given a new car and were able to sell the blessed old corolla!
- we (with the help of our contractor buddy and family) filled our well, fixed the roof, and installed a mini- split heat pump.
- the whole house has been repainted inside and looks amazing
- we met with our realtor and he wants to list our house for $3,000 more than we were expecting. (praise God!)
- nana came up and we had a fantastic much needed date night.
- Luke has started talking, a lot!
- Noah and Ella have been very patient as we have worked to the wee hours almost every night preparing for our listing
- I had to go back on blood pressure medicines. But since getting back on the meds I had my first normal reading This morning, in months!

My boy

My Luke.  There aren't enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe my boy completely.  He is funny.  Quietly mischievous   Attached to his mommy all the time.  Silly.  Picky.  Compassionate.  Beautiful  Amazing.

I can't believe it's been two years since this guy came into our life.  And I am SO very thankful to have my Lukey.  He brings me joy every single day.  I am so thankful and blessed to be his mommy.

I love you to the moon and back Lukey Duper.  Happy 2nd birthday babe.

(These are just a few of my favorite pictures, I have so many more I could have posted)

Happy Birthday Bekah and Daniel

The kids and I got to go to Alabama for the first part of spring break this week.  We celebrated Bekah and Dans April 1st birthday and got spoiled by my parents.  As an added bonus I got to see Grandma Scoggins and Grandma and Grandad Cagle.  It was a quick and fantastic visit.  I love my family.
These boys are too cute.

The grandparents

My brothers are hilarious

My babes!

Creepy Daniel, Bekah, and Edith

Daniel traditionally has a picture of him trying to blow a snot rocket on their shared cake  :)
