My camera is MIA. I have no clue where I have left it! It's been killing me because I keep seeing these cute picture moments with the kiddos, and I can't find the camera! Like today, we planted flowers and the kids dug and dug looking for worms. Then they loaded up their wagon with the plants and paraded them around the yard for awhile... so cute.
We're having a busy week. Tomorrow (sigh) is Noah's kindergarten registration day at Marion Elementary school. It's from 9 til 2. I've heard that they get to ride the bus, get a snack in the cafeteria, play on the playground, and check out a book in the library. Ella and I will be with him during his journey. He's growing up so fast!
Ella's got pink eye. Which is why no one will dare babysit her tomorrow (even though we are past the contagious part by about 12 hours).
And this weekend we are going to Hendersonville for Matthew Cannon's wedding (Matt's stepbrother). I am sure we'll have pictures of the festivities via Mary's camera. We'll get to see Papa and Nana Siak too on Friday.
Hopefully the camera will turn up soon!
A look into the daily lives of Matt, Sarah, Noah, Ella and Luke... and the people traveling with us on the journey.

Too sick to break out the camera
This week has been a crazy one (aren't they all!). Mom came in on Monday in preparation for a talk she was doing for our stay at home mom's ministry at Grace on Tuesday. We had a lot of fun on Monday just getting to hang out with Nana for a little bit. Monday night late, the stomach bug hit me. I was able to go to the ministry event, but was definitely under the weather. Mom gave us a great, encouraging word about how to manage our time juggling all the hats we wear, and challenged us to have a daily time in the Word every day. Tuesday after we got home, it was all I could do just to be in the bed. I told mom it was like I just told her "hi" and "bye" on this visit! But God knew what he was doing, because I needed her to help with the kids. The kiddos got excited while she was here because they were told about "Nana camp" that will happen in June (they're going to stay a week with her). Noah's got the virus now, but pray along with me that it will leave his body quickly and we can get back to our normal schedule!

What a weekend!!!!

We headed out to Salisbury on Friday night for a jam packed mini-vacation weekend. What we didn't know, is that the Lord had different plans for us all together! Ella ended up getting sick on the way there. Mary got sick that night, and we ended up having to cancel our plans to go visit the Siak grandparents because of the sickness. But, while it was a crazy sick-filled weekend, Noah summed it up by saying, "at least I got to swim in the pool!"

Easter Egg Hunt at Jackson Park
Today while Ella was taking a nap at Grannys, Noah, his cousins, uncles, and daddy went to Jackson Park to the big Hendersonville Egg Hunt. They had a lot of fun. Noah even found an egg with a grand prize - a got a kite at the end. Our Easter weekend has been so much fun!

Kim's surprise belated birthday party
Kim's birthday was in February, and after many failed attempts to get together to take her out to lunch, a few of us devised a plan to have a "playdate" surprise birthday party at my house yesterday. She was totall surprised, and it was a lot of fun. Sylvie, Chloe, Ella, Jen, and I decorated the house early in the morning and the preschool gang came over around lunch time for a great lunch (thanks for the chicken salad Carrie!) and cupcakes. Kim is a jewel and we are so glad we pulled off the surprise!

Noah and Ella's first day of swimming lessons for the year
This how Noah's swimming lesson went...
For some reason Noah, our little fish, freaked out during his swimming lesson. I think he did for a few reasons: #1 Ella and I were on the other side of the pool having a lesson together and having fun. #2 There were 3 kids per teacher so he had to wait on the side of the pool and watch all the other kids a lot. #3 His float had 2 supports which made him work a lot harder to stay above water, we always put a 4 support float on him.
Matt will be going on Thursday for swim class to be Noah's personal cheerleader, so hopefully it will go better!
