All the little people...

I thought I'd give you a peek of the little people I share my week with. Today we had Ella (of course, age 3), Carter (age 2), Chloe Beth (age 18 months) and Meredith (age 6 months). These are my regular little people. Occasionally others will come to our house during the week to feast on goldfish and juice, and watch Dora, and jump on the beds a little bit. But these are our regulars. And they were sweet to pose for pictures this morning. I love each of them to pieces and am so blessed to have them in our life.

It's been awhile...

About two weeks ago, our computer crashed. After trying to fix it ourselves, we decided to send it to a place that wipes computers clean so we can start from scratch. It was supposed to be fixed one day this week, but we still haven't heard from the guy. Therefore, I am sending out this little update from my mother in law's house today.

We have been busy. Isn't everyone these days? Our house has been filled with more children than usual the past two weeks, and I'm happy to say I enjoy it. I feel blessed to get to stay at home and hang out with some incredible little people during the week. Ella loves it too.

Our dryer is finally fixed! We went almost 3 weeks without a dryer. Between air drying laundry on the porch, visiting the laundromat several times, and farming out our wet clothes to our friends dryers, it's so nice to have the dryer fixed again. It was amazing the people who offered to dry our clothes for us while we were trying to figure out what was wrong, we have so many awesome people in our life who will help us with just about anything.

Our pastor has started this incredible series on prayer, and this past Sunday we got to start a new study with our lifegroup that will parallel the series that Jerry is preaching. I'm excited about how God is going to use this study to transform my prayer life.

I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. Another blessing was that the cavity beside my wisdom tooth was not as bad as the dentist thought, and they were able to do a simple filling. Mary has been taking good care of Ella and I in Hendersonville while I've been getting some rest.

Noah got to go to the circus for the first time today. And Matt got to go with him as a chaperone. They both had so much fun! I'm sure he won't forget it anytime soon.

I have taken a few pictures this week, but will have to upload them whenever we get our computer back. Until then, I hope you are well and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Today's a Big Day

Laughter, love, honesty, inside jokes, movie quotes, bravery, humility, snuggles, quiet and loud, peace, joy, bluntness, pride, selflessness, energy, parenthood, hero, fun, forever, blessed.

Thanks for that and more, Matt. I'll love you forever.

Happy 8th anniversary. And here's to the next 50.

Yesterday I got on facebook to find Pam Guessler had posted this video of my dad singing from 12 years ago. I got a kick out of it and only wish the sound was better.

His Biggest Fan

Ella loves her daddy. So very much. Every day she waits diligently until he comes home, and gives him a huge hug when he walks through the door. Every night she snuggles him.

Several times a day she asks where he is and if we can go see him. I love how much she loves Matt. Today, Daddy took her by herself to go sledding. Believe it or not, Noah told us he is tired of sledding! Ella I don't think could ever be too tired to play in the snow. She's our little daredevil. At the top of the hill she starts out laying down in the sled and halfway down she sits up wanting to see where she is going, giggling the entire time. After they got done sledding, Matt went to shovel the walkway. She wanted some more time outside so she's playing in her police car while daddy works. I'm so glad I have such an incredible man as my husband and the father of my babies. And that they love him so much.

Not so wonderous wonderland

This morning we woke up to another 4-5 inches of snow. It's currently sleeting and should turn back over to snow tonight. I went outside this morning and checked on our poor frosty, he's buried, you can't even see his scarf, carrot nose, and grapes for eyes. All you can see is my grandad's old hat they decided to use for his head. Matt, ever the work horse, went into work this morning, and was greated by several people needing him at their buisnesses. He's coming home by 2:00 hopefully. This morning the kids said a sweet prayer of safety for daddy while he's traveling on the roads. I'm sure we will have some more snow pictures. After all the storms are over, the kids are going to be dissappointed when they can't sled anymore!

Can't Stop

The kids are loving sledding! And I don't think they will stop until it isn't possible to sled anymore. So far, we are in our 2nd day of no school this week. Yesterday we did have Meredith for most of the day, so we had to wait until daddy came home from work to sled. Because the snow had melted a little, and the top had become more icy, the kids were excited to beat their records from the day before of how far they went from the top of the hill. Last night they hit the van and the house several times from the top of the hill. I was afraid they might get hurt, but they were dying laughing each time they ran into something! Today it's sleeting, so I don't think we will be able to get out, but hopefully they will get the chance to sled again tomorrow!
