Mom and Dad

I just stole these pictures off Bekah's facebook page from her visit with Hannah Beth on Saturday. In the one picture you can see her dimple! In the other she looks so precious sleeping.

The kids have such a great time in Granny's back yard! Her best investment ever was the pool for them to play in. This weekend we added the slip n slide and they had fun on that too! To top it off, Nick was there on Friday, and Noah and he are inseperable.

amazing...

Today we had the priveledge to watch Jesse in action. He is working this summer at the Flat Rock Playhouse as an apprentice. He lives on sight and is involved with all the behind

the scenes workings of the FRP and is in a few shows. Right now, the apprentice company is doing two shows a week at the Carl Sandburg home. It's a few of CS stories set to song. I think I didn't stop smiling the whole time. It was so fun to watch! And it is awesome to watch Jesse do exactly what he was called to do. Act.

Too funny not to share

Last night the fabulous women in my life threw me a birthday party! They fought over who would bring the dessert, so I had 3 of my favorites to choose from (don't worry, I ate a little of all 3). Here we are trying to group hug with one of them, our chocolate covered strawberries. I am so blessed to have the most amazing women in my life as my best friends!

Lauging and pointing and crying and laughing some more...

I laughed with my brother this past weekend so hard I was in tears. It was such an awesome thing getting to hang out with my parents and Daniel for the weekend! They made my early birthday party so special!

Nana and Papa Camp

The kids had such a blast at Nana and Papa Camp this week! It was such a busy week for the kids and the grandparents. Here are a few of the pictures from the latter part of the week, once I unearth the cd from earlier in the week, I'll post more.

Helen/Cleveland Georgia

We have had the blessing this week of just being "Matt and Sarah" and not "Dad and Mom." While we have missed the kids a lot, it has been such an incredible week! We dropped off the kids on Sunday in Georgia so they could spend the week at Nana and Papa Camp. Monday and Tuesday Matt had to work so I worked on the house and caught up on some things, and then Tuesday we headed down to Helen and Cleveland Georgia. My aunt and uncle now own the place that my grandparents used to. We visited here I believe almost every year beginning when I was a little girl. It is such a beautiful place! Matt and I got to enjoy 2 great breakfasts at MaGooch's a fabulous diner that is dirt cheap and believe gravy is more than a side item :). Matt got his pizza he's been craving since we were here last time, and we discovered a great water park where we spent the day acting like kids on Thursday. We have had so much fun together, and it was such a refreshing week. But I will be glad to get some hugs and kisses from the little people in my life tonight! Thanks mom and dad for giving us the gift of a break this week!

Hangin' at Granny's

We had our own mini-vacation at Granny's house before we dropped the kids off with Nana on Sunday. Granny was gone to the beach, so we got to spend a lot of time playing in her pool as just the 4 of us. I love this picture of Ella and Matt. Noah and Ella had such a fun time splashing each other!

Last week...

We had a great time last week with our friends! The summer playdates have begun!

"The best day of my life"

Believe it or not, I hear those words come from Noah's mouth a lot. He's had a lot of "best days." Today he lucked out because after we went to library time and to the park for our picnic, there was a huge school crowd at the splash pad and I deemed it not safe for all the little ones we were with. I suggested Emma come and play at our house until after Ella's nap and we would try to play again at the splash pad. Noah absolutely loves it. The picture of him alone, he is actually doing crazy dance moves in the water. The second one, is of him and his one true love, Emma Winters.

This afternoon they had so much fun playing dress up and house in Noah's room. To him, it was the "best day of my life."

Precious Ella

Ella is not a big fan of the splash pad this year for some reason. First of all, Noah woke her up early from her nap to go play in the water, and that is something I NEVER do or face the wrath of whiny Ella. Secondly, she was hungry (thus the bowl of cheeze its we had to bring). Thirdly, we yet again wasted another swim diaper, thinking this might be the day that she braves the water... but alas, she stayed dry. We will keep trying, and hopefully she will start to enjoy it soon, because Noah plans on spending a lot of time there this summer!

Praying for this man!

Grandad is still in the hospital. Please pray along with me that his blood sugar will increase to the right level, that his swelling will go down, and that he will get better soon. I love him tons and he is one of the many incredible people God has blessed me with in my life.
