Goggles

Today Ella and all the guys were playing in the backyard at Granny's house. Everyone else had on goggles, so Ella had to have some too. She was so cute and proud!

They are engaged!

A lot has been happening in the romance department in the Scoggins family. Daniel proposed to Lindsey, his longtime girlfriend, a few weeks ago, and this past weekend Will popped the question to Bekah. Congratulations!

New pictures I found

These were taken while I was in Alabama a few weeks ago. Matt and his family got together to visit with Chris, his stepbrother who was on leave from the marines.

I call the last one "wierd man love." Matt and his brothers are so goofy when they get together!

We love Sgetti!

It was another eventful dinner where everyone eventually ended up standing on the chairs and singing. Never a dull moment. They love having their pictures taken, so I had to snap a few of this spaghetti face-stained evening.

Mums the Word

I know it is a little early for fall decorating, but I can't help myself. My flowers did horribly this year because of our lack of rain, and we purchased some mums this past weekend at the home depot to have something "living" in the front yard. Ella was so cute helping me (Noah was busy coloring inside). She would pick up the mum, move it to the other side of the sidewalk, and then throw around some potting soil. This picture is of her "helping."

Porch trauma

Ella fell off the 3rd step at the house head first into the bushes. Which has led us to want to put up porch rails and step rails on both sides. Whenever the money is there, we'll start the project! This is a picture of her pitiful face the day after.

All the kids at Kid Senses

They sure had a blast at the local children's museum on Tuesday! Jack, Nick, and Noah are like a Tornado when they are together, but they some how managed to stay very well behaved and wore themselves out with all the imaginative play.

Jack and Nick are spending the night tonight!

After an eventful dinner at the Western Sizzlin' all the kids are playing outside trying to get worn out before bedtime. Tomorow we are heading to the children's museum. It's going to be a fun day!

Noah is teaching Ella how to use the potty!

For the sake of helping Ella, Noah is trying to teach her how to go potty by showing his sister how to pee sitting down. One day he is going to be so mad I took this picture!

Ella's big girl bed

Ella got her twin bed last night and daddy set it up today. We have to buy bed rails this weekend so she can start sleeping in it. They were so excited!

My sweet, precious Noah

To be honest, I am having a hard time with the fact that Noah begins his last year of preschool in one week. Because, that means in one year, we will be taking him to his first day of kindergarten! I have heard so many times over the years that the time flies by while they are young, and it is so completely true! Noah has always been our miracle child and each day he says something new that amazes me. He is our resident artist. He writes a new song every day about the most small things to the biggest things you can imagine. He belly laughs a lot. He loves his sister ("the meanest person he loves!"). He gets crazy hyper. And he loves to cuddle. He asks a lot of questions. He is 100% honest. He is handsome. He changed my life we entered our world. I am grateful to be his mommy, and grateful I get to stay at home and watch him grow every day. It just goes by too fast. The pictures is from when he was 3 months old, oh so long ago...

Blake Lucas Anderson

I got the priveledge to share Blake's birthday with Erica and Matt this week. He is such a beautiful baby who looks just like his daddy! I love this family!

Playing with more cousins

On Monday of this week we spent the night at Granny's house in anticipation of Erica's delivery the next day. Matt's step sister, Christian, and her two kids Samuel and Isabelle came over to swim. They all had fun!

On the deck

Noah camped out in a tent for the first time while we were there. He loved it!
