Moms day.

Each day as I parent my kids I can't help but think "mom did this too". The meals. The shuttling and shuffling. Boo-boo kissing, Tylenol administering, disciplining and discipleing. Parent conferencing and worrying that I might be messing up. I know she showed grace much more than I do. I don't think she was nearly as funny as I am (sorry mom). And through each day of my parenting journey, as I sacrifice, love, and laugh. I am thankful for all I know she did for me, to give me these wings that I fly with so proudly. And my hope is that I am developing my children's wings in a similar way. So they too, can fly as confidently as I can, because of the path she paved for me. My mom. This day I honor her. I love you mom.
