I'm lucky. I'm blessed. I didn't just get one or two, but I got 4 really awesome grandparents. And each of them have amazing qualities that I adore. I can still remember my grandaddy Scoggins laugh and I can't wait to hear it again one day when I am in heaven. My grandma Scoggins is one of the sweetest people you will meet. They were there for me so much growing up. My Cagle grandparents have been an example of ooey-gooey love for each other my whole life. In fact, we have patented a "Cagle kiss" based on how often they give each other smooches. My grandaddy Cagle has always had arms open for a hug, and has a heart of gold. My grandma Cagle gets funnier with age. I love her sense of style, and her giving spirit.
Monday I got the blessing of getting to spend the afternoon/evening with them in Marion as they breezed through town. I am so thankful for every moment I get to spend with them, and getting to watch how much they love their great-grandchildren. Noah and Ella were so excited to spend time with them, they squeezed in the middle of Grandma and Granddad in the booth at dinner.
I have a blessed life. A blessed family. I am blessed.
A look into the daily lives of Matt, Sarah, Noah, Ella and Luke... and the people traveling with us on the journey.
