I didn't realize how much work goes into running a house until I had my own. I didn't realize how much she loved me until I held Noah in my arms. I didn't realize how much she sacrificed until I went days without sleep comforting my own. I didn't realize what joy you could feel for your children until I watched them love each other. I didn't realize the sympathy she felt until my child got hurt by someone else. I didn't realize the pain she felt until I held my own while they were sick. I didn't realize the patience she had until I potty trained them. I didn't realize how hard she must have laughed until I heard my four year old try to tell a joke with the punch line first.
I do realize now how incredible she is. How her love has always been unconditional. She is selfless, encouraging, beautiful, ageless, loving, and almost perfect. And I'm the lucky one. To have her as my mom.
Happy Mothers Day mom.
I'll love you forever. I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living my mommy you'll be.
A look into the daily lives of Matt, Sarah, Noah, Ella and Luke... and the people traveling with us on the journey.
