A few weeks ago Nana Kelly brought the kids a gingerbread house kit. Noah and I decided to put it together on Tuesday during Ella's nap. That morning we went to Ingles and picked out a lot of different candy out of the candy bins. After Ella fell asleep, we mixed the icing (which didn't really work so we had to get out cupcake icing), and then set to it. I would have taken pictures during the actual process, but we were so sticky!! After we got the house standing, Noah designed the layout of the place with a fence, garden, bushes, and special doors. It was really cute and I loved getting to do it with him. On a funny note, one of the pictures is of the side of the house. Noah got creative with the food coloring and it ended up looking like a crime scene!
